Ardra smirked and crossed her arms. "Soooooo!" she sang, gesturing to the spot upon their neck. "Whot's thaaaat ya got there, bud?"
Darn. She'd hoped no one would notice. "It's nothing you need to be concerned with, Your Highness." So her husband had visited last night. No big deal, and nothing to hide- except where she was from, such things weren't spoken of. Here, they tended to be broadcast and gossiped about all over the courtyard.
"Keep in mind, I am married- I know it's easy to forget." Hopefully that would allay any juicier bits of talk. "My husband visited last night on his way back from Corona."
"What are you staring at!?"
"Your head. You know it's on fire, don't you?"
